Our booking form may be used to enquire for availability or to make a reservation.
If we have availability, we will confirm by email. We require a deposit of £100 to complete your reservation. Credit / Debit Card is preferred. For your security, card details are not collected here, but may be supplied by telephone.

The form data is sent using PGP encryption.
You will appreciate that we cannot hold a reservation without full credit/debit card details. Whether made verbally, by email or by letter, a reservation is a legal contract which both we and you must honour. If you cancel your reservation, you have broken your contract and if we cannot re-let we are allowed to charge you for the whole cost of the accommodation. Cancellation Insurance is inexpensive and protects both you and us from the unexpected.
Deposits
A deposit of £100 is taken at the time of booking with
the balance due one month prior to the beginning of your stay.
Availability
On the day of arrival, your accommodation will be made available from 4.00pm.
Please leave by 10.00am on the day of departure.
Minimum Stay
When availability allows we welcome Short Breaks at a rate of £135
per day for a minimum of three days.
Smoking
Rickla is and has always been non-smoking. If you smoke anywhere in the
property, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and ask you to leave. We will also charge you the
full costs of cleaning the accommodation: this will include (but is not limited to) carpet shampooing and
dry-cleaning of soft furnishings. If the room cannot be suitably prepared in the time available before the
arrival of the next guests we will charge you the cost of their alternative accommodation.
We let the entire property to you as one unit - if you need only one bedroom, we close-off the other.
Dogs
Like to bring your dog? We live with two terriers ourselves so are very dog-friendly but
maintaining your accommodation at the highest level is not easy and the time available to prepare for incoming
guests is extremely limited. With wonderful walks and virtually no traffic, the area around Rickla is great for
dogs so if you would like to bring your pal, please contact us with details and we will do our best to make it
possible.
Please note that a dog will only be allowed on the following basis:
Because the living area is upstairs, we will provide a paw & coat towel in the entrance lobby. We will also provide poop bags for garden/driveway use. Dogs will be welcome to exercise in any of our fields which do not contain sheep or cattle.
Please Note
Considerable care has been taken to ensure that you enjoy your stay at Rickla in clean,
comfortable and relaxing surroundings and we hope you will agree it is reasonable to expect that the
accommodation is left in the same condition in which you found it. Accidents do happen but we must insist
that breakages or damages are paid for.
